Tree Sculpture

After my apprenticeship in the traditional European style, under the late Master Carver Chrisostimos Effremetheis, my first work was actually carving trees. This all started in 1994 with a life-sized figure on Summit Ave in St. Paul. That trend continued and I carved a lot of trees for the next twelve years or so.
